Frappuccino made healthy and easy on your budget: sugar free, lowcarb, vegan and allergy-friendly!
Recipe type: drink
Cuisine: vegan, diabetic
Serves: 1 cup
  • ¼ cup cold brewed coffee
  • ½ cup plant milk
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • 1-2 drops of mint or orange extract
  • 1 teaspoon
  • vanilla extract
  • sweetener of your choice (I use a pinch of stewia powder or 1-2 teaspoons of xylitol)
  • a handful of ice cubes
  1. Pour coffee, milk and sweetener in your blender. Mix cocoa powder with fluids using a spoon or you might end up scraping it off the sides. Add any extract as the last ingredient.
  2. Fill you glass of choice with ice cubes, put ice cubes into blender. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pour in your favorite glass & enjoy!
You can customize this drink any way you like. I prefer almond milk but you can choose e.g. rice milk for a nut-free option. Try it with or without cocoa powder, any extracts and flavorings you like. My favorite combo is cocoa-mint extract.
